Vinson Bunting is an Operations Associate based in Bluespring Wealth’s Lexington office. He helps ensure the firm’s accounts, systems, and day-to-day operations run smoothly so advisors and planners can stay focused on serving clients. His work often includes opening and maintaining client accounts, handling daily trading activity, and supporting operational and compliance needs across the firm.
Before joining Bluespring, Vinson spent five years in the mortgage industry with EMB Mortgage, where he worked as a loan originator and helped manage a small processing team. While he enjoyed that experience, he was drawn toward a career more closely aligned with his interest in the markets and long-term planning, which led him to wealth management.
Vinson earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Finance from the University of Kentucky. His interest in investing began at a young age, inspired by his grandfather, and grew into a career focused on helping people work toward their financial goals. Outside of work, Vinson enjoys golfing, staying active, following Kentucky basketball and football, and playing music. A lifelong Lexington resident, he lives with his wife, Katie, and their very full household of pets, including three dogs, a cat, two snakes, and two geckos.
