Lori Smith serves as Operations Lead at Bluespring Wealth River Valley. With more than 30 years of industry experience, she oversees daily operations, compliance processes, and custodial relationships while also providing direct support to clients and advisors. Lori is passionate about creating efficient processes, managing risk, and ensuring the firm delivers a seamless experience for both clients and team members.
Throughout her career, Lori has held a variety of operational and leadership roles within the wealth management industry. This broad background gives her a deep understanding of the many moving pieces required to support a successful advisory practice.
Lori earned her degree in Business and Office Administration from the University of Cincinnati and has built her career around helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. She enjoys the variety that each day brings and finds fulfillment in building strong client relationships while working alongside a talented team dedicated to serving others.
Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and staying active outdoors through daily walks. She and her husband, Dave, have been married for more than 30 years and are proud parents of two grown and married children, David and Erika. Lori actively serves as a committee member for the Bethesda Foundation’s Celebration of Angels.
